How to Watch Soccer for Free in the US (2026)

You don't need a stack of subscriptions to watch a lot of top soccer in the US. A meaningful share of the biggest matches airs free over the air or on free ad-supported streaming. Here's where to find soccer without paying a cent.

Free over the air (with an antenna)

• NBC — the Premier League's marquee weekend windows.
• CBS — select UEFA Champions League matches (including the final) and select Serie A matches.
• FOX — select national MLS matches and Liga MX games, and it was the English home of the 2026 World Cup.
• ABC — select La Liga matches ESPN places on broadcast.

Free in Spanish

Spanish-language free TV carries a huge slate: Telemundo and Universo (Premier League, and they carried the 2026 World Cup), and Univision and UniMás (Liga MX and more). For many US soccer fans, the Spanish broadcast channels are the best free option of all.

Free streaming

• Fandango (Versant) — from 2026-27, all Bundesliga matches not on USA Network stream free.
• beIN Sports Xtra — free, ad-supported channels that carry some of beIN's soccer, including Ligue 1 coverage.

The catch

The biggest leagues still keep most of their matches behind a subscription — the full Premier League slate is on Peacock, the Champions League on Paramount+, La Liga on ESPN+, and all of MLS on Apple TV. But between free over-the-air TV, Spanish-language broadcast, and free streaming, there's genuinely good soccer on for free most weekends.
